At iPS Select, we believe in the power of connection, growth, and shared experiences. Our recent 3-day Select Adventure—also known as Select Week—was a perfect reflection of these values. Designed to strengthen collaboration, celebrate achievements, and invest in personal and professional development, the week was filled with meaningful moments and memorable activities. Here are some of the highlights:

 

Setting the Stage

Before the week officially began, the team received thoughtfully curated goodie bags to support them on their journey. Visual storyboards were also prepared to showcase our collective story and highlight joyful moments from the past year—setting a positive and energized tone for the days ahead.

 

Day 1: Kickoff, celebrations & time management

The adventure began with a warm welcome from our Team Lead Thomas, who set the stage for a week focused on growth, reflection, and team spirit. We took time to discuss how we can continue to evolve and improve as a team, and celebrated recent successes—sweetly punctuated by treats from our colleague Thomas.

 

The day concluded with a highly engaging Time Management training led by our Principal Consultant, Nina. The session provided practical tools and insights to help us manage our time more effectively and work smarter together.

 

Day 2: Building connections & exploring Rotterdam

Day 2 featured an inspiring session with our COO, Christian, centered on deepening mutual understanding and enhancing collaboration across the team. His insights sparked meaningful conversations and strengthened our sense of unity.

 

Following the session, we enjoyed a delicious team lunch in the heart of Rotterdam, followed by a lively and educational visit to the Maritime Museum—a perfect blend of culture, fun, and team bonding.

 

 

Day 3: Personality insights & celebratory close

The final day of Select Week featured a dynamic MapsTell session led by our Head of HR, Mireille. Through this interactive workshop, we explored how to better understand and communicate with different personality types—an invaluable step toward more effective teamwork.

 

 

To wrap up the week, we celebrated with a joyful karaoke session at Duke of Tokyo, followed by a festive dinner at Vessel 11. It was the perfect conclusion to a week filled with learning, laughter, and lasting memories.
