Are you a skillful negotiator with an interest in building a network of suppliers?

We are searching for a Buyer to join one of our clients. In this role you would be responsible for purchasing equipment and materials as well as arranging the logistics.

Function description

In this role, your main Tasks and Responsibilities are:

• Sourcing and evaluating potential supplier options
• Arrange transport for purchases
• Manage current stock of equipment/materials
• Manage relationship with current and future suppliers
• Negotiate prices and finalize contracts/agreements with suppliers

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Maritime or Technical focus; Procurement training can also be considered
• Relevant experience in technical/maritime procurement with focus on fast-paced projects
• The ideal candidate would have experience with metal construction
• Eagerness to take on responsibility
• Willingness to learn
