Function description
In this role, you will provide the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Project Planning team with the expertise to deliver the project in the most effective manner and with solid scheduling updates and KPIs status. Our client is one of nine companies involved in a large scale joint venture projects in Europe. The design and construction of this infrastructure project is focused on the product delivery with safety, sustainability, and ethical manner. In this position, you will be working with strict deadlines. Along with this, you will:
- Prepare and update the contractual Baseline Program (P6 Primavera) as necessary, ensuring alignment with the approved General Management Plans for the Marine section. This portion of the schedule includes resource-loaded activities.
- Develop and implement Lean principles and the Last Planner System meetings. Conduct monthly progress updates using the Last Planner System (Aphex), integrating the data into Primavera P6 and performing schedule variance analysis.
- Assist with Change Management processes, including Time Impact Analyses.
- Prepare S-Curves for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify and raise early warnings regarding potential schedule misalignments between work packages, and propose time-related mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, or similar.
- 8+ years’ experience in Planning, Scheduling and Control in EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) of Heavy Marine Infrastructure projects.
- Experience with CPM scheduling software (Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM, TILOS ,4D Construction Planning)
- Good understanding and experience on implementation of Site Diaries and 4 Week Look Ahead processes and digital tools
- Good understanding of Construction industry heavy equipment and subcontractor’s management.
- Experiences with marine environment, pontoons and dredging works , weather calendars and probabilistic approaches are a must
- Experience with Power BI a plus
- At least professional fluency in English
This is not a rotation position and requires temporary relocation to the site.
Due to the project’s location, a valid EU citizenship, Danish residency or work visa is mandatory.
