Function description
As a Vessel Technical Superintendent, you will be the first point of contact for the Bridge and Engine Room teams, providing guidance on maintenance, repairs, and safety. You’ll oversee the vessel’s technical condition, ensuring compliance and efficiency while managing PMS, spare parts, and suppliers.
Requirements
- Act as the primary technical advisor for the Bridge and Engine Room teams.
- Oversee vessel maintenance, repairs, and safe working practices.
- Ensure compliance with technical regulations and operational standards.
- Support vessel fabrication, PMS implementation, and spare parts management.
- Select and manage suppliers and contractors for technical needs.
- Plan and execute maintenance strategies, including training and documentation.
- Collaborate with Operations Management to reduce downtime and inefficiencies.
