Function description

You are responsible for collecting, storing and loading the foundations on board the vessel. While doing so, you take care of selecting, setting up and managing the required marshalling port. At the end of the project, you ensure that the foundations are delivered to the client and that any damage caused during installation is cleared. 

• You determine which vessels and equipment are required for project execution and coordinate mobilisation and demobilisation;
• You ensure that the required noise mitigation is met within the project;
• In close cooperation with the offshore construction managers, you coordinate the interfaces with other disciplines within the project, the subcontractors and the marine warranty surveyor;
• You will coordinate the deployment of the vessels and ensure that the required equipment is placed on board the vessel;
• Together with the QA/QC manager and the offshore construction managers, you will ensure that the operational process of the cable installation meets the contractual acceptance regarding quality standards;
• In cooperation with the project manager, you will ensure that the cable installation activities remain within budget.

In this role, you will report to the project manager on progress, deviations from installation plans and contractual issues that arise during the project.

During the preperation phase you will work from the office in Gorinchem. Execution will be done at project site Holland Kust West.

You will work 84 hours per week on a rotation schedule of 38/32 days.

Requirements

• Experience in offshore wind projects is a must
• You need to hold a work permit to work in The Netherlands
