Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator to play a key role in the technical and organizational planning for the construction of the fifth lock chamber in Brunsbüttel, Germany. In collaboration with the project team, you will identify and implement the most effective and efficient work methods, providing guidance on potential improvements as needed.
Function description
As a Project Coordinator, your base of operations will be in Brunsbüttel. During the week, you’ll be accommodated on-site, with weekends spent at home. The project team includes six members: a project manager, two planners, a lead site manager, a site manager, and a project assistant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop schedules and work plans.
- Contribute to the creation of change orders (additional/reduced work).
- Oversee the financial settlement of project milestones.
- Work closely with site managers to monitor costs and production progress.
- Provide support to the team wherever necessary.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all project-related files.
Requirements
- A relevant vocational or higher education degree, such as in Civil Engineering or Ground, Road, and Waterworks.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and AutoCAD.
- Strong command of the German language, both written and spoken.
