Join our client´s project team as a Preservation and Maintenance Coordinator. You will ensure effective preservation and maintenance from equipment receipt to handover. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in oil and gas, strong technical skills, and proficiency in English and intermediate German (B1).
Function description
- Proficient in English and intermediate German (B1).
- Collaborate with the project team to maintain positive relationships. Develop the project's Preservation Plan.
- Report to the Commissioning Lead and plan, develop, coordinate, and execute preservation and maintenance requirements until project handover.
- Review vendor requirements for preservation and maintenance. Ensure vendor maintenance requirements are met without breaching warranties.
- Work with the Completions Coordinator to load preservation and maintenance requirements into the completion system.
- Supervise a team performing preservation and maintenance activities from equipment receipt to handover.
Requirements
- 5+ years in oil and gas with a major contractor.
- Engineering degree or equivalent diploma preferred.
- Strong understanding of preservation and maintenance concepts and practices.
- Experience on EPC projects in a supervisory position as a preservation or maintenance lead/coordinator. Experience in the Oil & Gas or Power industry in a preservation or maintenance role.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents such as P&IDs, SLDs, Isometrics, GAs, exploded views, and Vendor O&M manuals. Ability to assess and communicate project requirements clearly and positively.
- In-depth experience in machine shop operations or major equipment repair. Broad technical knowledge of construction, commissioning, and completion activities.
- Familiarity with completions system databases is desirable. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus.
- Strong presentation skills for meetings. Good organizational skills and adaptability to various discipline groups.
