Function description

Right now, we're on the lookout for a Technical Method Engineer to join a prestigious international project. We need someone who can roll up their sleeves and dive into planning and managing technical (repair) operations, both onshore and in port settings. In this role as Method Engineer, you'll be the brains behind developing and prepping Standard Operating Procedures, making sure the technical processes run like clockwork. Your responsibilities will be:


  • Sketching out Method Statements, Site Layouts, sequence drawings, and logistic plans.
  • Offering insights for a 3-month look-ahead program.
  • Keeping an eye on technical works and suggesting improvements or fixes when needed.
  • Working closely with the procurement team to coordinate material supply and resource mobilization/demobilization.
  • Stepping in as the go-to person for managing subcontractors if the situation calls for it.
  • Checking and signing off on daily reports from our Supervisors and subcontractors.
  • Jumping in to lend a hand to other departments and backing up our Operations team.


Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in offshore engineering.
  • At least 5 years' experience in Marine or Heavy industry works.
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects of different levels of complexity all at once.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A hands-on approach, ready to hit the field and pay visits to suppliers, with a knack for getting things done.
  • English skills that are top-notch, written and spoken; bonus points if you speak Danish or German.
  • Problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the initiative to take charge when needed.
