One of our clients is looking for Project Engineers for their exciting new Offshore Wind Farm project in Taiwan. Be a part of the energy transition and contribute with your subsea cabling engineering!
As a Project Engineer, you'll oversee the routing of export cables and document installation works. Your responsibilities include coordinating with the Project team on work methods and engineering documentation to ensure a safe and efficient project execution.
Function description
In this role your main tasks and responsibilities include:
- Preparing and implementing specific ( working) methods with risk analysis;
- Providing coordination and advice in the event of technical problems;
- Supervising subcontractors;
- Reviewing and following up on the documentation for subcontractors and others;
- Checking document control registers in order to be sure that work instructions, working methods and drawings have been issued.
Requirements
- A Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Offshore or Marine Engineering
- Experience with subsea cabling projects, specifically developing method statements;
- Experience of supporting projects and managing external engineering and suppliers;
- An independent, practical and creative person who can solve problems, dares to take decisions and is able to work in project teams
- Willing to spend shorter or longer periods of time abroad on a regular basis.
