We are searching for a Buyer to join one of our clients. In this role you would be responsible for purchasing equipment and materials as well as arranging the logistics. The client is growing so they are looking for someone who is keen in being part of the growth and contribute with original opinions and ideas.

This role is open for different levels of seniority as the client is looking for the right company fit.

Function description

In this role, your main Tasks and Responsibilities are:

• Sourcing and evaluating potential supplier options
• Arrange transport for purchases
• Manage current stock of equipment/materials
• Manage relationship with current and future suppliers
• Negotiate prices and finalize contracts/agreements with suppliers

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Maritime/Logistics or Technical focus; Procurement education like Nevi will also be considered
• Relevant experience in technical/maritime procurement with focus on fast-paced projects
• Very important to have experience with metal/steel sourcing
• Eagerness to take on responsibility
• Willingness to learn
• English and Dutch language are required
