Short description

As a Project Engineer you will coordinate inputs from various functional departments and our house contractors, generation of deliverables/reports/procedures and standard project documents required for the project and thereby

contributing to the execution of the project. 

Function description

• Review and update scope of work documents from functional departments and clients to develop execution methodology and assess project cost and schedule impact.
• Ensure submission of procedures, drawings, and calculations to the client for review and approval; follow up on the return of these documents.
• Prepare and implement the Project Execution Plan (PEP), review the project plan with the planner, and assist in subcontract package preparation for outsourced work.
• Coordinate engineering and drafting work with operational personnel to ensure compliance with specifications and schedule.
• Coordinate with production and QA departments for day-to-day progress and execution of work per the project schedule and QC plan.
• Coordinate with the project procurement coordinator to ensure timely material delivery, manage client-delivered Free Issue Materials, and assist in logistics and storage.
• Lead the effort in creating the Project Final Report, documenting lessons learned, managing Change Orders, and ensuring client payments for successful project closeout.
• Travel when required outside the Netherlands.

Requirements

• Intermediate- or Higher Education (MBO/HBO Technical Degree).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience supported by direct exposure to relevant manufacturing operations in construction/fabrication/offshore/modular engineering industry. 
• Knowledge of rules and regulations (i.e. IMO-SOLAS, MODU-CODE, DNV2.7-1 etc.).
• Project Management using Microsoft AX based ADEACA package.
• Thorough understanding of contract administration, documentation and offshore work practice.
• Project Methodology
• Writing and Computer skills. Wide knowledge and experience of the following IT programs, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Projects and Autocad.
