Function description
Join our clients in the maritime sector as a Project Engineer / Junior Project Manager! We’re looking for proactive professionals with 1-2+ years of experience in project engineering or coordination. In this role, you’ll oversee project execution, manage documentation, and collaborate with teams to ensure projects run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project execution plans.
- Coordinate with teams to ensure project tasks align with timelines and specifications.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including reports and technical files.
- Support tender proposals and assist with technical planning and material selection.
- Oversee day-to-day project progress and collaborate with internal and external teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Engage with clients to clarify project requirements, where necessary.
Requirements
Experience Level and Compensation:
- Experience Level: These roles are suitable for entry to mid-level candidates with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Compensation: Competitive salary packages, with some roles offering €3,000 - €3,750 gross per month, depending on age and experience, and potential for a company car.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Maritime, or related field).
- Experience: 1-2+ years in project engineering, project coordination, or related roles within the maritime, offshore, or cable transport sectors.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with AutoCAD and project management tools is a plus.
- Effective communication in English; Dutch proficiency is essential for some roles.
- Mindset: Proactive, with the ability to see projects through to successful completion.
