Function description
We are looking for quality talents who can contribute to their ever-growing business. There are upcoming LNG and Offshore Wind projects where they are looking for quality inspectors to work offshore. You will work primarily within the welding and coating fields.
You will ensure the expected quality assurance on these projects by completing the following:
- Preparation of new and revised project procedures and instructions
- Relationship building between our client and subcontractors
- Conduct inspection according to our client's procedure and specifications
- Making report
- Risk management
Requirements
- 5+ years experience with a similar role in a welding and/or coating scope
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in relevant engineering field
- Experience with inspections and audits
- Background in the offshore industries, including: dredging, offshore energy (oil + gas or wind), pipelay/pipecoating, construction monopiles onshore, ship building, and steelworks.
- Taking leadership in drafting, preparing, and executing the ITP process
Certifications:
- Welding: C-SWIP 3.1/ Visual Inspection;
- Coating: NACE2, Frosio 2
- Offshore: GWO/ BOSIET
- Willing to work on Rotation schedules
