Function description
In this role, you will help develop, implement, and improve the QHSE management system. Your main responsibilities include ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible work environment and maintaining high-quality standards in all our onshore and offshore operations.
Your tasks will include:
- Develop, implement, and maintain an effective QHSE management system.
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations, conduct regular inspections and audits, and identify hazards and non-compliance issues.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with HR to develop and deliver QHSE training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Prepare and present regular reports on improvements, initiatives, and statistical data.
Requirements
We seek a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. You should have at least 2-3 years of experience as a QHSE Engineer or in a similar role in the offshore wind industry. Key qualifications include:
- Expertise in risk assessments, audits, and inspections, especially offshore.
- In-depth knowledge of QHSE regulations and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities across all organizational levels.
- Preferably certified in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
