Function description

Our client is a dynamic joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the world's longest immersed tunnel and the longest tunnel for both road and rail traffic. The joint venture consists of nine internationally renowned construction companies, each bringing valuable experience in large infrastructure projects.

The TE systems are part of the scope of the Marine team as temporary measures to facilitate the immersion of the elements.

In short, our client needs the temporary electrical installations to be installed and tested. In this role you are responsible for scheduling the electricians, ensure safe and correct electrical installation and provide input for testing plans and work methods. There will be a full week of testing and you will supervise the electrical engineers and ensure progress and safety according to the protocol. There will be interfaces with the outfitting team, Site Engineer Automation, the Supervisors STE Installations, SPE Installations and Demobilisation, which you will coordinate.

• Guiding and supervising a skilled team of electricians and testing engineers.
• Crafting and managing short-term work schedules and personnel assignments.
• Overseeing comprehensive testing procedures for all electrical installations.
• Ensuring the utmost safety and accuracy in all electrical setups.
• Spearheading the commissioning process for all electrical systems.
• Conducting meticulous reviews of electrical designs.
• Procuring necessary materials for project execution.
• Offering valuable insights for testing plans, demobilization strategies, and workflow optimization.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and traits:

• Proven experience in commissioning large-scale electrical installations.
• Strong proficiency in developing meticulous test plans.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of team supervision.
• In-depth understanding of Danish and Marine Law pertaining to electrical installations (DNV-LG norm).
• Certification for approving and commissioning electrical setups (el-installatør).
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends.
• Fluent proficiency in written and spoken English.
